At the request of FEMA Region 9 through ITDRC , MCS got on a call with all parties and CAL-OES. The request was can MCS provide CAL-OES a solution similar to that provided in the Woolsey Fire. The answer was yes, and so much more. We deployed to the Creek Fire to capture street level and aerial imagery for the purpose of improving the post-disaster assessment process. After volenteering 200+ hours we were able to provide a solution for CAL-OES to take to their Leadership team. To do this required coordination with many first responder divisions. John worked closely with the CAL-OES, CAL-FIRE, and Flight OPS Commander at the Incident Command Center.
